FREE ON-SITE COVID TESTING BEGINNING 10/11/2021
With the assistance of federal funding, the Kentucky Department of Public Health (KDHP) is offering optional, onsite COVID testing, which provides an additional layer of protection within our schools. Middlesboro Independent Schools will be working with Mako Medical to offer this FREE service to all students and district employees. PCR and rapid COVID tests are available, with test results back within 24-48 hours.
Free COVID Testing Offered Monday-Friday at times and locations below:
• Middlesboro Elementary School 8am-11:00am (Preschool-4th)
• Middlesboro Central Auditorium Center 8:00am-11:00am (5th-12th)
How to Get Free COVID Testing:
• You must be a student or an employee of Middlesboro Independent Schools • Parental consent is required for all students. Parents can come with their child to the testing site and sign consent at the time of testing, or fill out the attached consent form and return to your child’s school. (See QR code at the bottom for paperless registration) • If you have symptoms or have been exposed to known COVID and have no symptoms, you can receive a free COVID PCR test at the test site.
How to Get Results:
• Test results will be available through a secure website that you access. • Information is provided at the time of testing on how to get your results.
